Japanese grill house!

Tonight we were invited by some friends to go out to a Japanese restaurant where they cooked in front of you!  We were excited about it but also a little nervous about the food they would offer, but hey, gotta try it sometime right?  It was an all you could eat and drink for a cover price!  We definitely ate enough and almost had to be rolled out of there!  I must say...we actually were brave and tried many new foods that I would otherwise not have!
Our family and Fabiana, Lucas, and Alfredo (his wife is moving out here in a week), all from Sao Paulo, Brazil! It seemed like this restaurant was a hot spot for foreigners! Every seat was full in the place!  We had so much fun!

Now for some of the foods we tried, chicken, steak, cod (VERY GOOD), sushi (I know, you are shocked, not bad, not great), squid (not bad either, just a texture thing), salmon, another type of uncooked fish, lamb, many veggies, mushrooms, and we saved the best for last...fried bananas and ice cream!
(I'm sure there were more weird things that we tried, but that is all that I can recall at the moment!)
Reese especially LOVED this and thought that it was very cool!  They did it again for the other group that was sitting at our table a little later, so she got to see it twice!  So much fun!  Don't worry mom, I fed the girls before we came, but Reese did eat the cod and chicken and some steak!  But...she loved the fried bananas and ice cream the most!
                                                  YUMMMMM!
Another great restaurant and very entertaining! We will definitely have to go back!
