CRAZY CAMBRY!!

I found her the other day just staring into the oven door, she started pointing at herself and babbling!  It was adorable!  But...now she is pulling herself up by the handle on the door, so I'm going to have to watch her extra close if I have something in the oven!  Good thing there is a door between the kitchen and dining room that I can close off I guess!
Seems like kids have a special radar that always helps them either find the bag drawer or the tupperware drawer.  Today it was the bag drawer!  She loves to take them out and hear the crinkling sound they make!  Has a ball for at least 30 mins!

Staring out the window to the street below, wishing she could play outside, but raining AGAIN today!

She loves her little ducky that sings, lays eggs, and moves all around the room!  She loves chasing after it!
Uh oh!  She starting to want to walk!  She figured out that if she pushes her stool around she can walk from one room to another!  Tonight she pushed around her activity table too!  I think we may have a walker soon!  I would say that she prefers to stand and is standing or walking around furniture about 75-80% of the time!

I have a feeling that I'm going to be very busy at the beach when we visit for the month of August!  Cambry LOVES the water and crawls fast, but may be walking by then!  I'm going to have to keep a close eye on her for sure!!
Her new game is to play under the table and uses it as a maze!  She crawls between all of the chairs!  If she gets bored she will just play with the chairs by pushing and pulling them back and forth, working on her biceps for sure!
 So much trouble!

Reese's room is another FUN place for her to get to play in!  She thinks that she is so cool when she gets to play in there with Reese!  I think Reese likes it just as much!
By the look on Reese's face, I can tell that Cambry is touching something that she is not supposed to be touching!

A day at Shanghai Aquarium!

Last weekend we decided to take the girls to the aquarium on yet another rainy day!  Honestly, it has been raining here for the last three weeks!  It can really be depressing after awhile and very hard to get Reese to and from school as Cambry has to go out in the rain in her stroller too!  Not fun!  And, it is incredibly hard to get a taxi in this city when it is raining!  So standing by the side of the road with two small children in the pouring rain is a bit stressful and draining and we can not WAIT until the sun comes out again!  It is there "plum" rain season here so it usually lasts for 3-4 weeks and then they say it gets extremely hot! Anyways...enough complaining about the junky weather, so Eric thought we should check out the aquarium on Father's Day weekend!  Yup, right up his alley!  Eric loves aquariums for any of those who didn't know already!  I think we had four or five of them in our house before we had kids!  So...he was a happy dad when we decided to go there for the afternoon!

This aquarium was UNBELIEVABLE!!! I have been to Shedd's Aquarium which I have always loved, but this was absolutely amazing!  I couldn't believe how many different kinds of fish they had that I had NEVER seen before!  They had the most beautiful displays and the coral reefs that they had set up in the tanks was just gorgeous!  I was actually surprised that it was done so beautifully!  The best part was all of the different tunnels of aquariums that you could walk through or ride on a moving walkway to see!  So many large fish, sharks, sting rays, turtles, seals, alligators, eels, and many more that you could see so lose up, with in an inch!

These are living sharks that you can actually see moving around!  It was such a cool display, there was another set of six through the baby sharks entire time before coming out of the pod!  So neat to see it's growth and the baby sharks moving around!  We could also pet baby sharks in a huge tank that was quite close to the ground but it was closed for a bit while we were there so we didn't get an opportunity.  Maybe next time we visit!
This was a smaller shark, the display talks of the Great White that is three times as long!  HUGE!!

I have NEVER seen this type of fish before, alien looking, but so interesting!  Can't remember the name now!  Shoot!

Huge aquariums right over your head!  I couldn't get over how many there were, how big the fish were and how long the tunnels went!  Best displays I have seen anywhere!

 Even while going down escalators!
 Sawfish!
Cambry seemed to enjoy it too!
She kept wanting me to take pictures and would say mom, get a picture of this one!
 Japanese King Crab
Tropical fish, one of Reese's favorites, because some were "PINK"!
 Jelly fish
Tons, and tons, and tons of jelly fish!  They changed the lighting in the tank every 5-10 seconds so it looked so cool!  Reese couldn't get enough!  It could have put you to sleep they were so relaxing to watch!

Penguinos!! (As Reese would say, aka Penguins.)
 Sting Rays

These huge schools of fish would just keep swarming around the tank in a pattern, felt like you were in the ocean in the middle of it!
This was one of the small sea turtles.
 JAWS!!
Amazing to be that up close to them, you could literally see inside of their mouths!!

We had an awesome day and can't wait to go back!!
